@7Sins7Dreams That's lovely, I didn't know. Arka+daş, (I fact checked but my assumption was correct) "arka" means "back" , as in someone who has your back

@shoutosright In Bulgarian we have „аркадаш“ (arkadaş, derived from Turkish) which means a close friend and afaik it means the same thing in Turkish? Idk Turkish but I suppose it comes from the same root word? As in someone that’s close to you

In Turkish the word sibling is "kardeş" (karın+daş) the root of the word is "karın" -> belly (in this context "womb") "daş" -> people who share something in common kardeş -> the ones who share the the same womb
