For any privacy platform one known vulnerability is that wallet remains connected while performing all the transactions inside the dark pool. Shroud solves this by providing user email authentication as the direct way to interact and perform operations inside the dark pool. Now users needs to connect wallet only to mint Shroud Tokens and to be eligible to perform operations inside dark pool. For the rest of operations, all you need is an email to stay connected! Privacy should not be a luxury feature in crypto. It should be a fundamental property of financial systems. Introducing Shroud Network with a new approach to private transactions on permissionless ledgers. Today, most blockchain transactions expose everything. Wallet balances, transaction histories, counterparties, and behavioural patterns are all publicly visible. Anyone can trace financial activity across the network. While transparency has benefits, it also creates serious problems for individuals, businesses, and institutions that require financial privacy. Shroud Network allows user to deposit tokens into a shielded pool and move value privately using zero knowledge proofs in the form of notes/commitments. Once the deposit is made, transfers inside the pool reveal nothing about the sender, the receiver, or the transfer amount or the balances. The blockchain only verifies that the transaction is valid without exposing the underlying data. This means users can interact with the network while keeping their financial activity confidential.
