I recently left my job in Bangalore to move to SF and commit to building something of my own.
I want to stay in SF, meet people, attend hackathons and keep building stuff.
I have a rent budget of around $1500 to $2000 per month.
Any leads on where I could stay?
Due to overwhelming demand for referrals to YC Startup School,
I emailed the YC team & they said I could refer more than 10 people.
Going through each response today.

Last day of work today. I quit my job to go all in on building something of my own.
Not sure where this journey will take me, but follow along as I build in public.

I’ve been building a platform called Guildly to help me build projects like I’m running a company of AI agents.
It built itself, and it did a good job initially, but now I’m struggling to make it behave the way I want it to. Looks like Guildly doesn’t like being controlled.
Building software is still so difficult. You can ship an MVP incredibly fast, but building a proper product is getting harder because we’re not as involved in the code as we should be.
Most people usually ask me what I’m building. But last week someone asked me “what are you selling?”.
That question keeps coming back to my mind everyday now. Getting people to pay for something you’ve made is going to be the best feeling ever.
Waiting to get my first $.
