@Wizastudios Good question. We don't have an upgrade program at the moment. Your best bet is checking with dealers who might have trade-in programs or deals.

@shure I understand you don't have a trade in program but what if I have a good mic and just want to upgrade to a newer one? I rather get a deal than have to sell it and rebuy one.

@Miss_Midnight03 hi! which mic did you get? we do have some bundles available on our site, but most don't come with one since musicians/content creators like to choose their own (connector types, length) or they already have too many cables and don't need a new one :)

@xSparxy_ @shure A few weeks, probably yeah. Hate to see it though. SM7B is the go-to mic for both professional and podcast / personal high-end / general studio use, even for artists. Shure definitely needs to rework their packaging routines

Decided to get a new SM7B as my old one had a couple of parts missing and started getting worn What kind of unboxing experience is this @shure? I spoke with a friend of mine who recently bought an SM7B, same thing I've opened $30 mics better packaged than this 🤦 These indentations won't go away anytime soon that's for sure

@shure Thanks for your reply. No, I purchased it at Scandinavian Photo in Norway. My friend who also experienced these "indentations" due to packaging purchased his at a different audio store in Oslo (few months back from my understanding)
