Have to hand it to him, the project as conceived was pretty brilliant as an art project/sports gambling/crypto scheme mixed with a closed community of collectors. He claimed transparency with the block chain, but in reality initial purchases were conducted with google docs and that opacity allowed for wash trades & phony wallets in favour of selected and compliant collectors. For this to work he had to keep a tight grip on unruly members of the grotto. He also needed to expand his market to the irl art world and @vellumla was step #1. The auction he set up for that event was a carefully orchestrated shill show where certain members of the grotto were assigned lots and times to bid. When the whales did not materialize to up-bid, many grotto members realized that they'd be stuck with expensive work (whether they wanted it or not) and stopped bidding. So things were already going sideways for him before it was revealed that he was a major Sick Pillow and a compulsive liar. (ffs, don't mess with an 18 year old Ukrainian girl, she's tough) Can't imagine where he can successfully go from here, but the little army of cuntlets who remain faithful are desperately scrambling. 🍿🍿🍿
