@whitetailsyrah @culturecanceler plus we just spent a bajillion dollars on the 95th superstation, which the RLE makes redundant. it’s just a really inefficient way to improve transit equity that neglects existing infrastructure.

@whitetailsyrah @culturecanceler the difference is that wilson-howard red line serves some of the densest neighborhoods in the city and the UP-N is not underutilized the way metra is. for the current budget of RLE, we could improve service on the RI and ME and do metra-cta fare integration with $$ to spare.
