Straight out of college I gave a bunch of random exams- cat, law entrance, GATE, etc and scored alright in a few of them. On my graduation day, I met a proff who was very keen on knowing my results. He then gave me 500 rupees of blessing and asked me to send all my report cards so they can publish it as an accolade for the institution. I did what any sane person would do and didn't send anything to him. From that day until yesterday, he has been sending me good morning mesaages. Today he stopped. I wonder why. Did he find someone else with better rankings than me?
