SUMMARY OF H-1B EXECUTIVE ORDER
- ENTRY BAN: No H-1B visa holder may enter the United States beginning Sunday September 21st, including current visa holders, unles they pay $100K to enter.
- VISA FEE: New H-1B and H-1B extensions must pay 100K to be processed and 100K per year every year thereafter to maintain them.
This will effectively end the H-1B program completely. No one, even the highest paid at 500K will be paying an extra 100K a year to the government.
It will destroy the health care, higher education, and technology sectors as we know them if this isn't struck down in court.
English

Or maybe it will encourage more Americans to study medicine since they know they will get a job vs someone else because labor cost is cheaper for the for profit hospital for a long time, don’t tell me those hospitals don’t exploit immigrants either. I think this targets tech companies the most.
English

This will be absolutely devastating in the medical field.
~30% residents are international medical graduates & ~10k of 43k residency spots are filled by docs with H1-B visas.
Previously the h-1B fee was <$5,000.
No hospital will pay a $100k fee for a $55k resident salary.

Trump signs an EO on H-1Bs raising "the fee that companies pay to sponsor H1-B applicants to $100,000"

@CheerFessions1 It’s common because cheerleaders usually face “over training syndrome“ which makes our bodies more liable for serious injury during something simple. That’s why it’s always a “fluke” someone got injured. It’s not a fluke. It’s OTS.

About to watch #GirlTaken on @lifetimetv Decided this is the first time I’m going to live tweet while watching!

@CheerFessions1 It’s just a rewind but with a backhandspring before it. Looks SO good.

Happening Now.
Cheerleading officially bypassed for inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
The @ICUcheer will need to attempt to drum up enough support, participation, and momentum as the sport attempts to make it into the games in Brisbane Australia in 2032.

@Tylerryantr @BehnkeAnna 18+ worlds teams gives way more opportunities for adult sized flyers to fly.
English

@BehnkeAnna Rip to the dream of tall females or even males as flyers. Gonna be a lot of heart breaks when those girls can’t go in the air cause they are “too big”.
