I asked Jordi Alba about the defense after 2 consecutive clean sheets. (Orlando and tonight) Jordi says part of it is because of Drake Callender, then mentions defense not committing the errors they did in previous games, as well as the team continuing to grow. #InterMiamiCF

Honestly, don’t know what the right call is here. Tough one. Digne kicks Lamine without the ball - foul Lamine slams into Digne’s leg mid kick - foul * is there a different call if Lamine makes the same contact, but with a kicking motion instead?

It’s crazy that if Pinheiro didn’t book Paredes they couldn’t have gone to VAR. You can be mad at VAR protocol but first and foremost be disappointed in the referee for not seeing such an egregious flop by Embolo

Sad end for Colombia, thought they were the better team going into it, but just couldn’t get it going against Switzerland. Luis Diaz didn’t show much, and James Rodriguez didn’t have enough gas in the tank.
