Temporarily updated my profile. Kept the background, since I loved the celebration in my back yard of the 5th anniversary of my Wing Chun school. The Canary Peace 1/1 NFT from @canarypunkNFT on @salvor_io seems appropriate for what I am planning for my major rebranding. I have been supportive of other DeFi projects on @avax, namely @Moats_app, @salvor_io, @PharaohExchange, @LilCoqNft and @AvaxHefe. And I will continue to support them as you can see by adding them to my profile description. However, I have always been a "jack of all trades and master of none". I used to fight that, since the culture (family, friends, colleagues) would try to pressure me into "picking one thing" and becoming an expert in that. But I embrace all my interests and trades, including 🔺 Ministry (deacon, small group leader, youth ministry leader) 🔺 Wing Chun close quarters combatives 🔺 Software engineering (Java, VueJS, Web3) 🔺 Conditioning (personal trainer, sports nutrition consultant, USA Track & Field Level 1 coach) 🔺 Life coaching (certified through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute - ICF accredited) 🔺 Advocate for honest Decentralized Finance projects and initiatives on Avalanche blockchain. 🔺 Supporter of independent NFT artists (need to have fun, too) I have been working on a branding that will encompass all 5 major spokes in my hub: Christ, Character, Combat, Conditioning and Crypto. Working through a life/business coach and a social media consultant to try to get this right. I desire to promote genuine values while enjoying the amazing community of different people/cultures around the world that I have had the joy of engaging. Have a blessed day! More to come soon. My son turned 11 and asked for sushi for his birthday dinner. Done. Made the reservation. Then my in-laws called. They were coming into town and wanted to get together. I invited them along. One problem. My sister in law doesn't eat anything with Asian origin. Says it gives her migraines. For years we'd rearranged plans around this without question. I sat down with my son. Me: Hey. Your aunt doesn't really do Asian food. Would you consider somewhere else? Him: (looked at me) Him: It's my birthday. Me: I know. Him: I want sushi. Me: (fair) I called the in-laws. Explained everything. Told them they were welcome to come to ours the next day for the Superbowl instead if the restaurant didn't work. Them: We want to see you both days. Me: Then we'll see you both days. I figured that was their decision to make. We showed up to the restaurant. My son ordered everything he wanted. My sister in law sat down, looked at the menu for a long time, and ordered edamame and white rice. She was fine. No migraine. My son ate sushi until he could not move. Him: (on the way home, completely full) Him: Best birthday. Me: (looked at him) Me: Yeah? Him: Can we do this every year? Me: (thought about the in-laws) Me: (thought about the edamame) Me: (thought about his face at that table) Me: Absolutely.

YO!!! My oldest son received word today that he has been accepted onto the Gummy Bear Hitmen ultimate frisbee club team! His tryouts were intense! He is one of the captains of his college ultimate frisbee team, but there were some professional players at tryouts. It’s a club team, but should keep him stable and happy while attending his last year of grad school this next year.
