Before his human eyes could even register it, the stallion was already in motion. Nicholas’s eyes widened with wonder as he watched, fascinated. His basic human instinct told him to warn those women, but he didn’t. Curiosity got the better of him.

Nicholas followed those words, unmowing as he watched. He glanced around quickly to see if anyone had noticed, but the world carried on as if nothing was happening, as if there wasn’t pure magic unfolding right before his eyes.
