Congrats to the Canton 9, who will not be charged with felony witness intimidation for peacefully protesting across the street from Chris Albert's mediocre pizza shop last November. They had their clerk's hearings in January and although there was clearly no probable cause to charge them they waited 7 months in order to keep them in limbo and scare them out of exercising their First Amendment rights by peacefully protesting again.

On my 3rd and final attempt I gunned it as past as I could while making sure I didn't run over the curb at the turn. I felt like I was on a roller coaster. Traveling 19 mph in reverse is VERY different from traveling 19 mph going forward. I couldn't have gotten to 24 mph if I wanted to. Trooper Paul never tried doing this. He just measured the road.

Wow! In text messages with Trooper David DiCicco, Michael Proctor tells him that he "laid out the entire case" to the medical examiner, prior to her examining John O'Keefe's body. DiCicco responds by saying "you should've had me or Jeff do it." Proctor responded by saying "she would have made it accidental or natural causes." In other words, Proctor, 1) told the medical examiner that John was hit by a car prior to her examining the body, and 2) he believed that the ME would've ruled John's death to be accidental or from natural causes if he hadn't spoken to her first.
