No worries! An MFA is considered a “terminal” degree so you’re more likely to get professorship. My program was also fully funded, so solo teaching was a requirement, which made it easier to apply for adjunct positions. Congrats on your MA, though! I normally recommend my MA friends to look into charter or private schools (not collegiate, but still a great stepping stone for college courses!)

not to be /that/ person but I was an adjunct professor & did teach a representations of race and gender in film course at a university so everyone who’s saying Alastor just killed that white guy in the flashback because he was rude would’ve failed my course lmao

@Alastaura @goonwthwokeyaoi Sorry to be off topic, but how did you gain teaching experience to be able to get your position? I recently got my MA in art history, but it was only a one year program so i was never able to TA :(
