Rick George doesn't deserve his made up position in the athletic department. Should've been fired years ago

Colorado is the only Power 4 team that hasn’t won a bowl game in the CFP era (since 2014) The Buffaloes have only reached 3 bowl games in the last 12 years, all of which being the Alamo Bowl, and lost in blowout fashion each time. 2016: L 38-8 to OKST in Alamo Bowl 2020: L 55-23 to Texas in Alamo Bowl 2024: L 36-14 to BYU in Alamo Bowl Not only have Buffs not won a bowl in the CFP era, they haven’t won a bowl since *2004*. Although they went 3-9 last year and they’ve struggled to find a bowl win for over a decade, things can change quickly as we saw last season. Indiana was with Colorado in this stat last summer before winning both the Rose Bowl and Peach Bowl and then the National Championship. Will 2026 be the season Colorado finally wins their first bowl game in over 20 years?

The coaches have spoken: In a vote last week, the AFCA Board swung its support behind (1) a playoff with the max participants (likely 24); (2) discontinuing conference championships; and (3) ending CFP by second week of January, they tell @YahooSports. bit.ly/4talivj
