Today, I am rebuilding my wood working benches. The first ones I built were such trash. Good intentions bad judgement. Hope to build something "better" today. I'll post some pictures later about what they old tables looked like and the beginning of building the replacement!

Put some old comb in the bait box this morning. I think there is enough lure around, so hopefully as the weather picks back up to be nice and warm over the next few days, we will see some activity again.

The bait box hasn't got much activity after this. :( It snowed and then hailed the next day. I think it was 2 hail days back to back. The girls were still on the outside, huddled together. Dead, wet and stuck. The Chickens loved them as a snack tho! Circle of life. haha.

Here are some thoughts on the need for oversight in the election of a third member to the AADAO Oversight Committee: 1. The hub’s first election is currently being conducted live on-chain — this social consensus experiment is unfolding ahead of implementing the multiple-choice option in the Cosmos SDK/gov module. Given this scenario, AADAO has provided explicit voting guidelines (defining vote options) to facilitate the process. Although the guidelines are straightforward—vote 'Yes' for your preferred candidate and 'Abstain' on others—the lack of preemptive and proactive efforts to ensure participants abide by the defined vote options is concerning. The AADAO team must monitor and address particularly substantially visible deviations from these guidelines. A competitive election does not mean we have to have an ugly election. However, when a validator with 6.72% voting power (16.89m ATOM) votes 'Yes' for an employee/affiliate, 'Abstain' for one candidate, and 'No' for another, it introduces bias and social signaling that creates unfair advantages and disadvantages. I will also add here that as candidates, if any of us are affiliated with active validators on the hub, the manner of the validator’s voting behavior can be perceived as a direct expression of conduct the candidate deems permissible. 2. Historically, validators associated with AADAO team members have consistently abstained from voting on proposals directly affecting their interests, such as in the proposals to establish and renew the Atom accelerator fund and mandate (prop 95, prop 865). This (albeit) informal recusal standard has been in place since the DAO's inception. Why, then, is this standard not being upheld in the current election? For example, Citadel initially abstained from voting on all three candidates but later voted YES for Prop 922 (Clyde Carver) while maintaining their abstentions for Prop 921 and Prop 920. Given that @nshtedle, is an active AADAO Grant subdao reviewer and a Founding Team Member/Head of Business Development and DevRel at @CitadelDAO , doesn't this represent a conflict of interest? Shouldn't impartiality be maintained in the Oversight election by active AADAO members and their validator affiliates? For the record, I have already communicated the above concerns to the AADAO team. I was informed that they are considering various response strategies but are hesitant about potentially upsetting the validators. Who cares? Or rather, that is the wrong thing to care for. The more critical issue here is ensuring a fair and clean voting process — and this objective should take precedence over all other considerations. I am in some serious react/npm/nodejs hell right now. Tried to make more sense of my project structure for myself by reorganizing it a little. Now nothing loads. Webpack error and I have spent hours since yesterday trying to figure it out. FML... LOL

Checked outside, and I saw a clump of dead bees. :(

I'm hopeful to recapture this other hive in my bait box. Lots of scout activity around it prior to snow plus the clump was a good sign. Hopefully they didn't try and move just prior or during the snow. And I hope it didn't kill them if they hadn't found a place to stay in yet.

So we had a hive we lost. The one I recaptured left again. I was able to get a other package so I do have two hives now. But that hive that left is near by. They keep coming back for the sugar water food. You can tell because of flight patterns coming or no pollen.

Just before it started snowing, I saw these girls on my bait hive with a few flying in front.
