There are many "takes" on #AI. In fact, the trial between @elonmusk and @OpenAI highlights different views on the risk, requirements, & potential of AI. That is why Mike, Campbell, and I started Three Takes on AI. Take a look at our recent podcasts. threetakesonai.com/blog

Cinco de Mayo celebrates the unlikely victory of Mexico over France. Will AI be more beneficial for us, as in Star Trek, or evil, as in the Terminator movies, as @elonmusk suggested in his testimony? Here are our Three Takes on AI perspective at youtu.be/UYowdbzHf5c?si…

The Learning Gap: AI can "fake it" but it can't "learn it". Humans have the passion and experience to know when a problem is actually solved, while AI just keeps predicting the next token. Don't trade mastery for automation. #ThreeTakesOnAI #AI youtu.be/1nSAereaFYQ?si…

Sour dough bread day!!! Did you know that Sourdough bread is easier on your stomach because natural fermentation helps break it down before you eat it. It also doesn’t spike blood sugar as fast as regular bread!!!! These are gifts for friends coming over!!!

@crappiedoc @mcuban The problem is healthcare is not or should not be driven my market forces and price alone. The lowest cost surgeon, most likely is not the same quality as the expensive. Having to choose lower cost, quality, means you could die. Leave that to market forces ?

You're on point with these big cost, catastrophic issues. I’ll agree not exactly apples to apples. I’m simply pointing out an obvious example of how market forces can constrain costs. Slower growth stems from key market dynamics unique to elective cosmetic surgery: 1. **Price transparency** 2. **Direct competition** — Patients actively shop around for plastic surgery 3. **No third-party payer distortion** — Cosmetic procedures are paid out-of-pocket, with no insurance involvement. Eliminates need for large billing departments to navigate reimbursement firewalls that inflate costs in insured care. This is huge! 4. **Focus on routine, elective care** — Most cosmetic work is non-catastrophic and planned, similar to much of everyday medical care 💯 agree that truly catastrophic or unexpected events require a robust safety net (e.g., high-risk pooling or public support). The bulk of medical care could benefit from an injection of free market. @DutchRojas

Because the procedure and consumables are the exact same for everyone. Volume is required to make more money, so prices are pushed lower. Plastic surgery is the same for anything not custom. When you can advertise to a specific procedure and it’s standard , prices can go down You see the same thing with ASCs. Hip replacement , knee replacement. Etc. DPC has the same advantage. These aren’t the cost drivers for 6t in healthcare costs. These aren’t the things that keep people up at night. When you see “Need a heart or lung transplant, Dr Strangelove has been your transplant king in Pittsburgh for the last 20 years. We will have you in and out for the low low price of $1,995. Financing available “ ads on a billboard , Or “If a family member has had a catastrophic accident , have the ambulance come to Surgeons R Us. We can fix anything for a flat fee of $2,995 ! “ We take HSA, FSA and Bitcoin “ Then we can talk about it being a free market that competes with the behemoths Right now the huge incumbents are Too Big To Care

@GeBaiDC @mcuban Ge. How is it that cosmetic/plastic surgery costs and prices have increased at a fraction of general healthcare costs over the last several decades, yet the majority in these specialties remain in private practice?

AI ROI shouldn’t be measured differently than other business investment. If it can’t compete with hiring, upgrading systems, or fixing processes, it’s a distraction. Join the discussion at Threetakesonai.com, watch or listen our latest Podcast. #AI #AIROI #BusinessTech
