Sedikit pencerahan mengenai masalah bantut (stunting) di Malaysia: 1. Ia bukan sahaja isu kesihatan, tapi lebih penting, ia isu pendidikan. 2. Ia bukan masalah atau cabaran golongan miskin sahaja. 3. Ia melibatkan kanak2 di bawah umur 5 thn, sebelum alam persekolahan. 1/n

Malaysia is an outlier: richer than its neighbors but doing worse on child nutrition— If we look at income levels across countries in South and Southeast Asia, Malaysia is far richer than many of its neighbors. Its gross domestic product (GDP) per capita has almost doubled since 2000. It is now more than three times higher than that of Cambodia, Laos, and Bangladesh, and more than double that of Indonesia and Vietnam. But if we look at measures of childhood nutrition, Malaysia is not doing better. You can see this in the chart. While its neighbors have made progress on childhood stunting — the share of children under 5 who are too short for their age — Malaysia has regressed. In 2000, 20% of children were “stunted”, and this has increased to 24%. Malaysia also stands out at a global level. When we plot the share of children who are stunted against GDP per capita, the country is a clear outlier for its level of income. Most other countries at this level of economic development have rates below 10%. Malaysia also does relatively poorly on other measures of malnutrition. On childhood wasting — when a child’s weight is too low for their height — it has one of the highest rates in the region. The country is off track or worsening on most global nutrition targets. #1MDB On top of the fines, he was also penalised a sum recoverable under the AMLA act of about RM 2.08 billion, bringing the total amount payable to RM13.47 billion. He could be asked to serve 2 years and six months in jail if he fails to pay the additional sum.

#1MDB Court has resumed. Najib's lawyer says the ex-PM not wasting time in prison, is pursuing a PhD due to complete in 2026. Najib "is still thinking about the development of Malaysia", Shafee said, adding the topic of the paper is on the economic transformation of Malaysia.

For context, prof ni kutuk pelajar b40 sebab tak mampu ada proper alat pembelajaran ya. Walhal pelajar tu jawab soalan yg prof tanya sedangkan takde pelajar lain jawab. That’s effort. But still kena hina sbb b40. So- no thanks, this is so low coming from public health account.
Public Health Malaysia@health_malaysia

Serius rasa Prof ni layak dapat satu episod penuh. Harap ada host yang sudi jemput Prof borak dalam podcast, bagi kita peluang dengar sendiri kisah dari sudut mata beliau

This 'competition' between broadcasters only harms consumers in order to line the pockets of the Premier League and UEFA. No wonder so many are turning to illegal methods to watch football - the costs just cannot be justified.
LNobbins@LNobbins

To confirm, does this mean that, to officially/legally watch all broadcast Premier League and UCL games in this country, you need a subscription for all of: Sky; TNT; Amazon Prime; and Paramount+

Aku ada pengalaman beli used 13 kereta Honda, Toyota, Proton. Juga rekemen kawan beli 3 kereta. Semua takde masalah major. Jual balik pun kurang susut nilai. Wear n tear tu normal. Bayar rm200 upah foreman kau kenal. Check sebelum beli, semak apa perlu tukar. Masih lebih murah.

Bagus. Beli used lagi bijak dari beli baru. Harga kereta baru adalah 20% pencukaian terhadap kemalasan untuk ambil tahu pasal kereta yang kau pandu hampir setiap hari. Kalau rasa 20% tu mampu, silakan.
