It isn't a shoulder charge, it's poor technique. He's gone with his head the wrong side of the tackle which means he can't wrap properly and he makes head to head contact

Don’t understand why anyone would say it’s not. It’s a shoulder charge, dipped into contact and whether it’s head or shoulder that is direct contact, Ponga has a responsibility to not endanger an opponent. It’s a red card the way RL is these days IMO whether you agree or not

Such a massive disappointment to see Giants like this. The days of Brough, Brown, Jerry, Cudjoe etc, a tough pack, a well drilled team to this. They aren’t bringing anything to SL currently.

Wow indeed. Didn’t expect that, but, If after the Leeds incident every club was warned which I’m presuming they were then good on the EFL. What Leeds did was wrong but probably no rules then in place. Boro or Hull in the Premier league it is then.
