@ezestc @Adaj_SikikaAfrk The present day electricity law YOU yourself presently can generate and sell electricity to your neighbor without getting to the national grid. It is not even about the state it is about Private investors which you yourself can be if you have the money.....

@sim_B_olu @Adaj_SikikaAfrk Lagos or Anambra States can generate more electricity and decide to resell to other States or Local authorities. This is done in other countries but you are free to disagree.

"Please can help me out with the country that Electricity/Power infrastructure 100% government investment no Private. I will not mind 75% stake of government please do"~@sim_B_olu Expectedly, you will find this kind of comments. Pls, whenever @ezestc replies, let me know. 👍

@thecableng @AlikoDangote To a failed State this is good news but what shouldn't be in the hands of an individual, is steadily happening in Nigeria. Institutions that should be corporate investment of Cities and States, are falling into private hands of Dangote thanks to a country terribly structured.

Reality has hit Davido him don run comot for Osun. He came to Osun to brag about stepping back from music to support his uncle’s re-election campaign, he came in and couldn’t show one single project his uncle did, he was streaming Eating Amala and drinking ice cream 😂 Seeing the signs that his uncle doesn’t stand a chance, guess who is back to Lagos and on his way to a performance? August 15 Ademola Adeleke’s defeat would be televised to the whole world.

@Adaj_SikikaAfrk @sim_B_olu I've replied to the comment, already. Electricity generation is on Nigeria's exclusive list which is wrong just like State police. It needs to reside with the State and Local governments.

Beyond political will the biggest issue facing the Siemens power project is funding. A counter part funding of around €300 million has preventing the full take off of the project. Project of this magnitude and significance is being diminished due to paucity of funds. Same with the Green Imperative Project, that could help revolutionize agriculture in Nigeria. It is well

As I prepared to watch the Super Bowl tonight, I was reminded of Nigeria's vast potential. On the field were three exceptional Nigerians making their nation proud on the world's biggest sporting stage: Michael Onwenu of the New England Patriots and Uchenna Nwosu of the Seattle Seahawks. Also, the reigning Offensive Player of the Year from Seattle Seahawks, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, is of Nigerian descent. Their success is not accidental; it is the result of discipline, opportunity, and systems that recognize and reward talent. Watching them, one cannot help but reflect on what Nigerians can achieve when provided with the right environment to thrive. If our country were governed with vision, competence, and integrity, and if leadership focused on building strong institutions, investing in people, and creating equal opportunities, there would be no limit to what Nigerians could accomplish—not just in sports, but in science, technology, business, education, and every sphere of human endeavor. Nigeria is not lacking in talent. What we have lacked for too long is leadership that unleashes that talent. When we get leadership right, Nigeria will not only participate on the global stage but will consistently excel and lead. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT UPDATE LAWMA Waste Surveillance, Investigation & Enforcement, in collaboration with the Ministry of the Environment Enforcement Team and KAI Marshal operatives, responded swiftly to an environmental infraction complaint from the Honourable Commissioner for the Environment. Following investigations, illegal occupants and structures were dislodged and demolished at No. 19 Musa Yar’Adua Street, Eti-Osa, where persistent activities had defaced the environment. Wooden carts were confiscated, and the premises sealed to ensure full compliance. This operation, carried out on 07/02/2026, reinforces the State’s commitment to a cleaner, safer Lagos. @jidesanwoolu @drobafemihamzat @gbenga_omo @gboyegaakosile @LanreBajulaiye @Mr_JAGs @BSaluHundeyin  @Riddwane @Lawma_gov @muyiwag #AGreaterLagosRising #LASG #CleanerLagos #LAWMA #EnvironmentalEnforcement #ZeroTolerance #KeepLagosClean

Following reports of traders illegally occupying the frontage of St. Paul’s Breadfruit School, I directed our operatives to move in immediately. Yesterday at about 1:30pm, enforcement was carried out on Davies Street. All stalls and makeshift shops attached to the school fence and those extending onto the road were dismantled, and the entire stretch was thoroughly cleaned. Schools and access roads must not be turned into trading corridors. Beyond the obstruction, these activities pose safety and environmental risks to our children and the wider community. We will sustain monitoring of the area to maintain order and ensure that the current state is preserved. Lagos must work for everyone, and that begins with respecting public spaces. #ZeroToleranceLagos
