I am glad to share that I have contributed the entry on Batteries in the newly launched Elgar Encyclopedia of European Law. My entry analyzes the current regulatory framework and its role in the EU’s broader industrial and environmental strategy. This encyclopedia is a significant undertaking, bringing together contributions from scholars, civil servants, and members of the judiciary. It provides both practical and academic overviews of European integration, currently featuring nearly 100 entries with plans to expand. My thanks to editors Andrea Biondi and Oana Stefan for their coordination and oversight of such a large project, and to the team at Edward Elgar Publishing for the smooth publication process. Every time I receive a conference invitation, there's no time for happiness, just the anxiety of securing a visa. Countless nights spent refreshing webpages for a slot, often requiring extra payment to submit in time. To my 8th visa application during my PhD studies. @PhD_Genie

@sufi_shahab Fun fact: there is no bar exam for enrolment as a lawyer in Turkey 🥲 If you graduate from law school and continiue one year mandatory bar course( again no exam but just attending lectures), volia, congrats you’re lawyer 🤦🏻‍♀️

Legal education is becoming a failure in Pakistan. Instead of improving its standard, Punjab Bar council has increased the number of attempts to pass the LAW GAT test (for enrolment as a lawyer in Punjab) from 1 to 3, 5 and now 7 periodically.
