Anyone have any ideas about the secret quantum point addition circuit? Must be more than e.g. a better classical circuit or more efficient scratch. Is it really plausible someone with the right background couldn't rediscover it? Why then keep it secret?

but they introduced more off-chain data/compute overhead
there’s been an explosion of papers in last few months that have reduced off-chain costs from ~50 GB now to ~500 KB 🤯
