I built an AI receptionist for small businesses. it picks up the phone, talks to clients, books appointments, and sends payment links. no missed calls. no back and forth. all automated. full context of the business. Made for the @elevenlabs x @stripe weekly hackathon.

announcement: i want to fund founders attacking one ugly truth: most internal software only existed because coordination across mediocre human labor was expensive. agents don’t just automate the task. they collapse the reason the category existed. if you’re building where cheap intelligence deletes middle layers instead of adding another dashboard, i want to see it.

this is how I would find investors if I had to start from 0 cold emails get ~2% replies, warm intros get 30-40%+, I would focus on finding warm intros by doing this: 1. export your LinkedIn connections (→ Settings → Data Privacy → Get a copy of your data → Connections → Request archive) 2. you will get the CSV via email 3. add that CSV to Claude/Claude Code as context 4) connect the Crustdata MCP (link in comments, will send free trials for this specific use case today, just mention that in the form and I will personally set you up) and ask it to enrich everyone 5) you will then have a list of your entire network + where they work and used to work + where they studied + skills + every single data point about them 6) you then tell Claude about your idea and ask it to use the Crustdata MCP to find VCs/angel investors that are investing in your industry, it will go through every single portfolio to see who is the best fit 7) after it generates you a list, ask Claude to use your enriched list and find connections that overlap with the investor target list: - People in your network who worked at the same company at the same time as the partner - People who went to the same school in overlapping years - Mutual 1st-degree connections ask Claude to rank the list by the strength of that connection 8) after you have this list of warm intro paths to your target investors, follow up with every single one on that warm intro path (can also ask Claude to generate the outreach for you), it can be something like this: "hey x, i'm raising a seed for [one-line description]. [Partner] at [Fund] led the round in [comparable company] last year, and I noticed you two overlapped at [Company, 2018-2020]. would you be open to forwarding a 3-line blurb to [Partner]? Would appreciate it a lot!" send the 3-line blurb immediately as the second message

we're applying to a16z @speedrun with @noticedso. referrals are not easy to get if you're not well connected in san francisco, so we used noticed to build a public directory of 835 scouts, partners and alumni. and we made it public so any founder can benefit from it.

@pcbo @noticedso someone make that normal distribution meme where noticed is on the left and right and whatever else this is goes in the center

One of the worst takes I’ve seen on @noticedso because this GTM tactic is achieving that, getting noticed by other founders and investors who will benefit tons from using noticed. 🤷‍♂️
Noemi@NoemiTitarenco

@0xmacedo @speedrun @noticedso having to do all this work to get in an incubator with pretty lousy terms is wild. what happens if you put all this energy in getting your market excited about your product?

if you're not in sf, applying to a16z speedrun can feel like a different game. the application is open globally, but most founders get in through someone who lives within a few blocks of the sand hill office. noticed put 835 of those people in one public list.

on a discovery call. halfway through, the prospect describes a pain almost word for word. you've heard this before, from someone you had dinner with six months ago. they would buy. you can't remember who. the easiest customer of the year just disappeared.

5/ then @simao_etc from @noticedso showed how he's using autoresearch to level up his agent harness noticed is an AI that maps your network and handles warm intros so the agent getting sharper means the intros get sharper the product compounds while you sleep
