WHY I’M HOLDING @Azuki, @ThePlagueNFT, @PANZNEXTGEN, @finalbosuX, and some pieces from @psychanon
🧵 Long thread ahead. If you’ve got a moment, I’d love to share my thoughts on these projects.
I'll start with my very first NFT project—@psychanon. I minted almost a full set and even bought more components at nearly 1 ETH each. But then the bear market hit hard, and I saw just how volatile this space could be. I believed in the project for so long, even when it nearly hit zero. Eventually, I lost hope and sold my genesis. Later, I saw that @kloss_xyz acquired the project. I’ll admit—I was skeptical at first. But looking back, I have to say Kloss is the one who kept it alive. He’s shown what it means to be a true builder, no matter the FUD or negativity. I’ll definitely rebuy my genesis when I see it on the market. Even though I don’t hold one right now, I’ll continue to support Kloss and this project because the community truly deserves the best.
After a long break, I noticed the NFT market was coming alive again. At the end of 2024, I bought an @Azuki Elemental for 0.55 ETH, planning to flip it before TGE. I already knew about Azuki from 2022 and had heard great things about their community, but I was honestly surprised by how welcoming it actually was. I sold that Azuki for 1.45 ETH—but I regretted it almost immediately. I realized I didn’t want to leave the community; I wanted to ride the ups and downs with these anime freaks. A week later, I bought another Azuki Elemental, and ever since, I’ve been certain I’ll be holding it long term. I’m also still holding all my @animecoin because I believe it’s the future of the anime industry.
In early 2025, I saw a post from @Pons_ETH about a chance to get a free @ThePlagueNFT by joining a @Maxis_gg raffle. I figured, why not? Even if you didn’t win, you'd get an NFT worth more than the entry. When I got mine, I shared how happy I was to join the pond—and I was shocked by how much engagement the post got. People were commenting, liking, and reposting like crazy. That post is still my most liked, retweeted, and commented one. After that, I never even considered selling my frog.
Through that same raffle, I also discovered the adorable @PANZNEXTGEN pandas. At the time, they were super affordable and I had some leftover ETH. The art was great, the community looked solid, so I picked one up. I still think this project is undervalued and will rise in the near future.
And last, but definitely not least— @finalbosuX. I don’t even know where to start. Everything is top-tier—from the whitelist experience and the art to the lore and the team behind it, especially @kevinfinalbosu. From the moment I saw sneak peeks of the project, I knew I had to get one. I didn’t get a whitelist, but thanks to my Azuki, I was able to join the FCFS presale. I waited all day, not wanting to miss it. It sold out in just 35 seconds, but I was lucky enough to mint one. Now, I’m counting down to the reveal and praying for a 1/1 Finalbosu.
