In southern Lebanon, many families were forced to leave their homes during recent unrest, and sadly some pets and stray animals were left behind. While most people were trying to find safety, one man chose to stay and help the animals that had nowhere to go. Hussein Hamza has been rescuing dogs and caring for them at his shelter, which now houses more than 200 animals. He provides them with food, water, and a safe place to stay. Hamza also travels to nearby towns and villages, searching for animals that were abandoned and bringing them back to safety. With the help of online supporters who donate food and supplies, he continues to care for the growing number of dogs depending on him. His story is a powerful reminder that compassion can still shine even in the most difficult times. 🐾

@nielsiedotbe I know and understand that, but I also know plenty who are staying in Dusseldorf,, they don’t need to go to cologne,, but we all need to go to leverkusen!! Just not fair on people really 🤷🏼‍♂️

@simonbatman Leverkusen is basically a neighborhood of Cologne. The center of Leverkusen is nothing, so I understand why Arsenal does it in the city.

I totally get the need and understand why we do the collections,, I’ve been lucky and had close pick up and known inconvenience like Munich when it was miles away,,, but if true this is in a different city,, total pisstake on the fans

At this point, the threat of 100% collection has already put off anyone planning to pass their tickets on. Rather than inconvenience people, the club might as well email out the tickets and save everyone the trip to Cologne.

@gunsandribbons @bootifulgame I get what your saying ferg,, but surly it should be in the city where the game is??!! All they really need is a pop up tent and two tables,, not fair on people arriving last minute into Dusseldorf to travel to cologne and back again, not been thought through at all by the club

Closest airport Cologne, biggest city Cologne I know most of our group are staying in Cologne and some in Dusildorf but all are within an hour of each other and Leverkusen is in the middle so if the have early collection giving people time to travel it will not really be an issue
