Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information following an alleged sexual assault at TK Maxx on Manchester Fort in Cheetham Hill. At around 4:33pm on 9 May 2026, it was reported a man entered the store before a lone woman entered shortly after. As she made her way to the homeware section, it is understood that he began to follow her close by and down other aisles. The man then engaged in sexually inappropriate behaviour and sexually assaulted the woman. As she called for security, the man immediately exited the store. Officers would like to appeal to the woman to come forward. Officers would also like to speak to this man as they believe he may be able to assist with enquiries. He is described as a black male, wearing a black headscarf, headphones, a light brown jacket with black check pattern, light blue jeans, and black trainers. Any info?
