@Jonathan_Hinder Going to find a lot of senior citizens in southern England struggling financially if you force this through. Are you really ok with that?

Art has the power to change the way we see the world — and the way we choose to protect it. For Cameroonian artist Bright Toh, creativity is also a tool for conservation, to spark emotion, inspire action, and show people the value of wildlife. youtube.com/watch?v=NKz-sJ…

The overhang is clearing at uranium-gold developer, #NEO $NEO. Find me a cheaper U / Au development play on the LSE, or on any Western exchange. To reiterate: Shore Cap has a 14p target on the stock... assuming gold at $3,200/oz over the long-term. Gold is currently >$1,500/oz higher, at >$4,700/oz.
Myles McNulty@MylesMcNulty

A monster development from uranium-gold developer, Neo Energy Metals #NEO $NEO, with the board seeing four new joiners (including a new chair) and six departures. Read through the resumes of the new directors in the RNS and it's plain to see that this isn't just a punchy upgrade, but a complete transformation in terms of board quality. Many market participants I've spoken to in recent months about NEO think the assets and story are quality and compelling, and the valuation disconnect extreme, but that the (now former!) board weren't up to scratch to deliver the projects. A reminder: across its South Africa projects, Neo now has an in-situ resource of 121 million lbs of uranium, and 5.4 million oz of gold. At current spot prices (Au @ $4,750 and U @ $87), that equates to an in-situ value of $36.2 billion. ShoreCap - the only house currently covering the stock - has the first project, Beisa, coming online in circa 18 months. Within 3-4 years, they estimate that that operation will be generating circa $215m EBITDA per annum, at current prices. It's worth highlighting that Shore Cap has a target price of 14.0p, versus the current share price of 1.0p. And the price deck used by the analyst to arrive at that 14p target was Au at $3,200/oz for life of mine, and U at $85/lb. ...... Today's news changes the story completely. At 1.0p, NEO's mkt cap is a mere £26m. Due to the co-production nature of Beisa, it could, in the not-too-distant future, be one of the lowest cost gold producers or uranium producers worldwide (depending on which way you look at it!). I believe this stock now has the real chance of doing 10x, 20x from 1.0p, within just a couple of years. [And I have added heavily today!] londonstockexchange.com/news-article/N…

Truly transformational news for Invinity $IES #IES. The Energy Storage subsector has been taking off (on proper (ex-UK!) exchanges!) in recent months. The valuation disconnect between IES and its international peer groups is obscene. Expecting a massive rerating from the 23-24p level over the coming weeks.

New idea. Next time we publish a report on a politician, I’ll keep the politician’s name blanked out for a week, and let everyone take positions before they find out who it is.

You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me. Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true. Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response. I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth. The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts. I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. It is targeted hatred and it is getting worse. So my message is simple. Not here. Not in Britain. And not on our watch. We need to stop the hand-wringing and start doing the right thing. That means standing with British Jews openly, unapologetically and without fear.

And finally, science and common sense start to prevail. Very good piece in @guardianopinion by @tjadred . It's really important that Guardian readers see these arguments in their paper.

To see this in @guardian brings me close to tears of relief. Huge thanks to @tjaldred, who will get plenty of flak, but should get heartfelt thanks from everyone interested in serious journalism and fairness in sport. Every word. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
