This #worldaidsday was special for me. After 4 decades I was reunited with the panel I painted to honor Mundo Meza who died in 1985. The Mexican motifs paid tribute to Mundo’s heritage which inspired his art. Huge thanks to @CompassCenterFL for unearthing my panel.

Today is our 30th Anniversary!!!! Our first (blind) date took place at a Japanese restaurant on 7th Ave near the old Barneys. I recall Jonny arrived on roller-blades (into the restaurant) wearing clay-spattered clothes and a backpack. Thirty years of silly fabulosity ensued.
