#InCaseYouMissedIt news out of Summit County, Utah 🔔: Kouri Richins, a mother of three, is carrying out a sentence of life in prison without parole for murdering husband Eric Richins with a lethal dose of fentanyl. Eric Richins died in March 2022 at the age of 39. Prosecutors said more than anything, Kouri wanted her husband’s money to perpetuate her facade of privilege, affluence and success. CBS News reports Eric Richins owned a lucrative contracting business, and Kouri Richins worked as a real estate agent, buying and flipping houses. #BREAKING 🚨: A large police presence was reported near Interstate 385 at the Haywood Road exit in Greenville as law enforcement officials searched for a suspect on the run. Officials say there is an active warrant out for 27-year-old Raymond Drew Montes, and as of now, they haven’t been able to find him. Quick story time for this #WaybackWednesday photo which popped up in my memories. This was taken in 2017, after I’d quit my job at a nonprofit without any other opportunity lined up to pursue my passion as a full-time broadcaster. It was undoubtedly a very scary road. I had little to no money — and I was living with and leaning heavy on my parents. I ended up working gigs as a trivia host and DJ playing multiple restaurants (pictured here), a red-carpet correspondent and a substitute teacher simultaneously until my break in television. Let this be a reminder you can do hard things. And if you’re willing to put in the work — and believe — you will achieve. Happy day of the hump. 🐫
