@GuitarmanJoel @Bree_B_ If this were true, there wouldn't be thousands of Protestant denominations all interpreting certain verses of the Bible differently. There would only be one.

@Bree_B_ Really, yes. The authority of Scripture, however is inherent. Why is the interpretation and the authority of interpretation a requirement? You just need a good study Bible :) I use the Crossway ESV Study Bible. The entire work has commentary, forwards, the works.

If you’re a convert from Protestantism to Catholicism what was the first thing that started to get your wheels turning? For me it was how we got the Bible. I had never asked how we got it I just took it for granted until I was presented with new information.

@MartinSLewis I was very similar last week. Took about 4 days to recover. It was pretty miserable!

Still got this bloomin lurgy, high temperature, hot and cold flushes and achy. Not Covid. No cough. No cold. Anyone else had something similar? (barring Mrs MSE, who's also now got it - so clearly its contageous). How long does it take to end - i'm on day 3.

@RichardDawkins Have you spoken to "most Catholics" to confirm (about 1.2 billion)? Why does it concern you what Catholics believe? If they are wrong, it does you no harm whatsoever. If they are right.... Well it also makes no difference to you in this life!

Roman Catholics are required to believe that communion wine actually is literally the blood of Christ, and the wafer literally is his body. Not symbolically but literally. Not a metaphor but literally. That way madness lies. At very least it’s a pernicious abuse of language.

@barrybateman Is there any way to check that the cameras had the time set correctly when the photos were taken?
