I think this supports the very good point Michael is making. There isn't a single silver bullet. But I don't think there ever will be.

@Banouby I have thought about this advert a lot (/too much). My working hypothesis is that the original line was ‘Thirsty for Worldies’, and got changed because someone in the sign off process said they were worried no one would know what that meant.

@footballfactman Trick question. People got into it so they had something to be passive aggressive about on Twitter, everyone knows that. It's just a freak coincidence that some of it actually seems to work.

Old skool football analytics people...did you start to get into "it" to make charts and tables for football clubs for them to make decisions? Or so that you were at the table genuinely helping make the decisions yourself?

After more than 3 incredible years this will be my last week at @InterMiamiCF. I'm proud of the analytics structures we've put in place and I feel so lucky to have been able work with a wonderful staff and under one of the best sporting directors in the game in @19Hendy19.

@mattycutler Went to the Jags/Falcons NFL game at Wembley last year, and they had set up a fan zone afterwards in the underground carpark with a big screen showing NFL Redzone, and stalls selling food and beer. Despite sounding fairly bleak on paper, it actually worked brilliantly.

For a thing, I'm looking for examples of where sports venues/stadiums are doing deals on booze/food/showing live sport on a matchday. To get you in earlier/to leave later. Have you been going into stadiums earlier/later and if so what's been the attraction?
