@mathematics_inc @DARPA Making this open source is a massive win for everyone. It’s way better to have these tools out in the wild where people can actually build on them instead of locked behind a paywall. Keep up the grind.

Today, at the @DARPA expMath kickoff, we launched 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗚𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘀, an open source and state of the art autoformalization agent harness for developers and practitioners to accelerate progress at the frontier. It is stronger, faster, and more cost-efficient than off-the-shelf alternatives. On FormalQualBench, running with a 4-hour timeout, it beats @HarmonicMath's Aristotle agent with no time limit. Users of OpenGauss can interact with it as much or as little as they want, can easily manage many subagents working in parallel, and can extend / modify / introspect OpenGauss because it is permissively open-source. OpenGauss was developed in close collaboration with maintainers of leading open-source AI tooling for Lean. Read the report and try it out:

@Tesla It is rare to see a company handle every single step from the hardware to the software. This approach is why the progress with AI and robotics is moving so fast. Having the data and the computers to process it gives a massive advantage over everyone else.

We – design the chips & hardware – make the cars w/ said hardware – collect real-world data at scale – train the real-world AI model – built (& continue to expand) the massive supercomputer cluster that trains it – deploy AI directly to millions of robots on wheels All that is shared with @Tesla_Optimus for broader applications in both the physical & digital world

@cb_doge This is the right move for the platform. Too many good ideas get lost just because someone doesn't have many followers yet. Moving toward a system that rewards quality will help new voices get the attention they deserve. It makes the whole experience more fair.

@Teslaconomics I’d definitely pay a premium for the peace of mind. Having a bot to handle heavy bags and keep the cabin fresh between rides is a total level up. It makes the whole experience feel way more high-end and secure.

Safety is a trap that keeps people from seeing what they're truly capable of. If you aren't building your own dream, you're just a cog in someone else's machine. The only real exception is when you're working on something that actually moves the needle for humanity. We need more risk-takers and fewer people just waiting for the weekend.
Teslaconomics@Teslaconomics

Many may not like me for saying this bc this is a majority of people… but it’s the truth of how I feel. People that work a 9-5 don’t inspire me one bit, especially when they’ve been doing the same thing for years. The only exception for me is if you’ve been putting in that time at one of Elon’s companies, bc at least then you’re helping build something that actually matters and pushes the world forward. Plus, it’s extremely difficult to last a long time. That’s different to me. That kind of work has a bigger mission behind it. But outside of that, I’ll be honest, it just feels sad to me… Like when you were young, did you really grow up thinking you wanted to spend your life working for somebody else? Or did you dream about being your own boss and building something of your own? For me, that answer was always obvious. I see it also in my kids when they dream of the future of what they want to become. I think it’s innate in us from a young age and many things in life changes that mindset as we get older. I remember when I was at Apple, people used to look up to the ones who had been there for a long time like they were God or something. But in my head, I was thinking, “wtf… you’re still here? Why?” And I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way. I respect hard work. I respect discipline. What I don’t respect is getting so comfortable that you stop growing. I don’t get inspired by people who spend their whole life working for someone else’s dream and call that success. It isn’t to me. Being a rat on a wheel and calling it success, just doesn’t fit my definition of success, no matter how much $ you’re making. That’s also why even someone like my mom being a piano teacher inspires me more than a salaried person bc she’s her own boss. She built her own path. One person works for themselves. The other doesn’t. That difference means a lot to me. What inspires me is someone betting on themselves. Someone taking risks. Someone building something of their own. Someone waking up and chasing freedom instead of just chasing the weekend or a 2-week vacation. That’s what moves me. I’ve just never been built to admire comfort the way a lot of people do. A steady paycheck might make some people feel secure, but for me, too much comfort can be dangerous. It can make people settle. It can make them stop dreaming. It can make them confuse stability with fulfillment. Life is too valuable to spend it on repeat, especially if deep down you know you were meant for more. That’s why I’ve always looked at things differently. Some people see staying at the same company for 10, 15, 20 years as loyalty or success. Sometimes I see it as fear. Fear of starting over. Fear of failing. Fear of finding out what you’re really capable of outside of the system. For me, real inspiration comes from people who are willing to step into the unknown and build a life on their own terms. People who want ownership of their time. Ownership of their future. Ownership of their life. That will always inspire me more than someone who just stayed where it was safe. And this is really important to me when I build a relationship with someone.

It is vital to support Israel's right to defend itself against ongoing threats. Blaming our allies for the instability in the region ignores the reality of the situation. We need a return to strong leadership that prioritizes security and works toward actual peace through strength. Ending these wars should be the goal, but we cannot abandon our partners in the process.

@MarioNawfal This money won't stop the rockets or the influence of Iran. Israel has every right to defend its people, and a small check from France doesn't change the security situation on the ground. Real peace only happens when groups like Hezbollah are actually dealt with.

🇫🇷🇱🇧 France announced it'll double humanitarian aid to Lebanon to ~$20M while FM Barrot visits Beirut, pushing for a ceasefire. Their envoy says it's "unreasonable" to expect Lebanon's gov to disarm Hezbollah while Israel is bombing. Israel's response? "Too little, too late." They want Hezbollah gone but see Beirut as too weak/scared to act without sparking civil war. France's cash looks like a band-aid on a bullet wound. Aid helps civilians, sure, but it doesn't touch the root: Hezbollah's arsenal and Iran's grip. This feels more like diplomatic theater than a real path to peace. Lebanon stays stuck, civilians suffer, French taxpayers pay for a foreign country, and the cycle drags on. Thoughts? Source: Al Jazeera

The fact that one bottleneck can hold the entire global economy hostage is insane. It’s a massive wake-up call for why we need to prioritize domestic energy and keep pushing for innovation. We can't afford to be at the mercy of these regimes any longer.

The divide between the US and Iran is wider than ever, and it’s clear the current strategy isn't working. We can't keep letting these conflicts drag on indefinitely without a real plan to end them. It’s time for a major shift toward actual results and stability. Keeping things in limbo like this is just a recipe for disaster.

@SawyerMerritt @carwowuk It’s crazy how these big channels spread straight up lies just for the clicks. They’re testing basic Autopilot on city streets and calling it FSD because they know it'll stir the pot. Total hit piece that completely ignores the actual tech.

Carwow just released a new video to its 11 million YouTube subscribers titled: "Why Tesla Full Self Drive is Pointless!" @carwowuk misleads its viewers into thinking Tesla’s Autopilot is FSD, even though FSD hasn’t been approved in the UK yet. Autopilot isn’t meant for city driving, yet they test of bunch of scenarios that Autopilot wasn't built to do in the first place....

Coinbase CEO, Brian Armstrong: Some great insights on how they are using internally hosted AI Agents. "It’s connected to every Slack message, every Google Doc, and every Salesforce data confluence. Now, this is all linked up and the data is all aggregated, so you can ask these agents questions. Every team is using it—legal, finance, everything. It’s like the "Oracle of Coinbase." I’ve started to ask it things that go beyond just simple prompting, like "Hey, can you write this kind of memo for me?" I’m asking these AI agents now, as CEO, "What should I be aware of in the company that I might not be aware of?" It will tell me, "Did you know that there’s actually disagreement on this team about the strategy?" I realized I didn't know that, but the AI does because it can read every Slack message and every Google Doc. Tobi, who is on my board, calls this "reverse prompting." Instead of telling the AI agent what you want to do, you ask it what you should be thinking more about." --- From @theallinpod YT channel (link in comment)
