@Gaz3putt @GMB Lovely little spot. Even though we predominately go all inclusive as a family and don’t need to go out, we go to the Rose as a treat most nights as we know what we’re getting. Can’t wait to be back in May!

@GMB This is a joke. Whenever I've been to Tenerife. The locals have always been very accommodating. Dave, who owns the English Rose, in Las Americas even gets proper Richmond sausages and genuine glasses. You don't get that in places like "Seville". Take me back! 🥰

British holidaymakers arriving in Tenerife for the Easter break have been met with anti-tourist graffiti. Residents living in the Canary Islands have declared war and say they are 'fed-up' with British tourists who only 'drink cheap beer, lay in the sun and eat low-quality food'. So, should we boycott Tenerife?

I'm working on building a list of great books for across the history curriculum. One area I'm lacking in (bizarrely) is Ancient Egypt. So, what is your favourite Ancient Egyptian fiction book? (Comments as to why are much appreciated) RTs appreciated.

@simontownsend21 Great question. We built the foundational knowledge of early periods of time, such as Stone A-& cumulatively built Brit hist along those lines. Anc Greece is complex - so connecting with existing knowledge of Roman & Egypt to give a stronger start. Concepts are cumulative too.

@RamsayGolf I got picked up to play here after staying the night in Chester for a wedding. I was incredibly hungover had an absolute nightmare and genuinely lost 10 balls in 12 holes. It was stunning, and I can't wait to go back. Which as far as golf goes says an awful lot.

After 6 weeks, training will be a habit. A habit isn't exciting nor boring. It's pure repetition. That mindset separates exercisers for life versus on/off or never do. Why? Because motivation is a transient mood. Habit is a neutral, non emotional state. You don't shower because you're motivated to, you shower because it's a good habit to facilitate good hygiene. Exercise isn't so you feel good, look good, training for a wonderful charity, it's to have a healthy body that works optimally. That's it. Anything else is a bonus in the same way a shower has the bonus of you smelling good or enjoying the warm water. Too many people exercise when they feel good. Those same people( me definitely before a change of relationship with exercise) then go when they "feel" motivated or inspired or are having a great day. Wrong. You go for the sake of going which leads within weeks and months to optimal health. That's it. Any other reason leads to the dress fitting in June and putting on 3 stone by Christmas. I've been there and I know what I'm talking about. As an athlete and as a morbidly obese ( at times) male, and all in between. Motivation is the enemy of growth. Habit is your best friend.

@Positivteacha @jon_hutchinson_ Most paternity pay is two weeks full pay in education . SPL is £151.97 per week. I've not come across many schools who don't offer two weeks full pay.

Had an absolute blast with these two over the last couple of weeks. I’m very excited to be returning to work and am lucky to have an outrageously flexible employer. But…two weeks just isn’t enough paternity leave. It isn’t long enough to properly bond with your new baby.
