dear findom, it's considered a faux-pas to give a sub a refund if the session gets out of hand and over budget. However, on several occasions (out of hundreds), I have had dommes give me a refund. In all 3 cases, no promises were made and the refunds were done strictly out of care for my mental and financial health. One such refund was $900. This was years ago and I recently contacted her and sent her $1000 to pay her back, pay it forward and let her know that what she did was truly altruistic and appreciated. I've had dommes promise refunds if the session went over budget. ZERO of those dommes ever gave a refund. Including the session from 2 months ago that went for $4500. In fact, when I asked her about living up to her promise, telling her she could refund $1500 and that I would make that up in sends over the next 2-3 months, she responded by mocking me on her timeline for all her friends to laugh at me --this while I was already going through a mental health crisis. I've had over a dozen dommes tell me they were going to give me a refund and then --somehow-- never got around to it. I've had dommes profusely apologize for ripping me off and going over budget after coming into my DMs and saying they'd *NEVER* do anything like that. Somehow those apologies never come with a refund. I get that people are struggling under trump's fucked up economy. Single moms, dommes with disabilities, etc. But don't break your fvcking promises. Null never forgets.
