To combat this, Robert Sanchez got an “injury” and the whole Chelsea team went over for a team talk. The Blues were suddenly much more composed after that. Leeds didn’t do enough to earn a place in the Final despite being hampered by a referee who fell for Chelsea’s theatrics at every turn and allowed them to snuff any momentum Leeds had started to build up over the match. Another visit to Wembley, still not seen Leeds score.
