the main reason trans rights have degraded so thoroughly since 2016 is due to a coordinated effort by the right to denigrate trans people

Sometimes they admit it in a way that shows they don't understand consent or coercion. Eg, Neil Gaiman admitting to initiating kink with 0 prior discussion with vulnerable women whom he provided with work and housing. But he claims that's not rape.

It actually pisses me off so much that people are “defending” an award winning comic by claiming people can portray their “OCs” however they want. That’s way more dismissive of any potential artistic merit than any trans women’s criticism of it.

There's other factors into abuse rates, such as women being more likely to be financially dependent on her partner, and that makes it harder to leave a bad relationship. This maps onto st4t because trans women face higher rates of job and housing discrimination than trans men
