Once again I’ve received direct messages containing threats, harassment, misogynistic insults, xenophobic remarks and deeply personal attacks from Mr. Alexander Zabel. Among them, the sender threatened to “expose” me simply for speaking publicly and even mocked my late father. My father died by suicide on July 26, 2015 and I mentioned it very briefly at some point. Using a deceased family member as a weapon to insinuate absurd things, intimidate or silence someone isn’t “free speech.” It’s cruelty. No woman and no human being should be subjected to this kind of abuse for expressing an opinion or reporting on matters of public interest. I won’t be intimidated into silence. Threats and harassment only reinforce why accountability matters. Everything has been documented.
