Say this prayer tonight before you go to sleep:
Dear God, help me trust You even when I don’t fully understand what You’re doing in my life right now. When things feel uncertain, overwhelming, delayed, or confusing, keep me grounded in faith instead of fear. Calm my mind from overthinking and my heart from anxiety. Remind me that just because I cannot see everything working yet does not mean You are not moving behind the scenes. Help me trust Your timing, direction, and plans for my life even when the process feels uncomfortable. Thank You for guiding me, protecting me, and working things together for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As you sleep tonight, I just want you to remember that very soon, you will forget the hurt, the reason you cried, and who caused you pain. You will finally realize that the secret of being free is not revenge, but letting things unfold in their own way over time. After all, what matters most is not the first but the last chapter of your life, which shows how well you ran the race. So smile, forgive, believe, and love God with all your heart.

Me: Holy Spirit, please wake me up to pray at exactly 3am.
3:00am sharp, I suddenly felt a tap. I jumped up, looked around… nothing. I went back to sleep.
BOOM 💥 another tap! I jumped again, this time grabbed my phone… 3am 😭
That’s when I remembered what I told Holy Spirit… I just said, “Chai.” 😫
He doesn’t forget. He keeps perfect time. He truly has your best interest at heart.
Honestly… He is your best friend.

Let’s pray.
Heavenly Father,
On this resurrection morning, I declare that every dead thing in my life is coming back to life. By the power that raised Jesus Christ from the grave, I speak restoration, revival, and renewal over my spirit, my family, and my purpose. Every stone that has blocked my progress is rolled away. Every chain is broken. Every limitation is shattered. I step into new beginnings, divine favor, and supernatural breakthroughs.
Where there was sorrow, I decree joy. Where there was delay, I declare acceleration. I decree that this week carries divine alignment, favor, and unexpected blessings. What I touch will prosper, and where I go, Your presence will go before me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You may not know Victor Wanyama. But I do. So do a lot of Tottenham fans. I will tell you a bit about him today.
He was the boy from Muthurwa and he carried the entire nation of Kenya on his back.
Victor Wanyama did not just dream. He chased the dream all the way to the places the dream lived.
Victor Wanyama did more than play football. He gave Kenya something far more precious than goals and caps. He gave hope. And he gave proof. Proof that a child from one of Nairobi's most humble neighbourhoods could walk into the biggest stadiums in the world and belong there completely.
He was the first and only Kenyan to ever play in the English Premier League. He was also the first Kenyan to score in the UEFA Champions League, putting the ball past Barcelona for Celtic in 2012.
From there, he played at Southampton and then Tottenham where he featured in a Champions League final. Then he played five years as a Designated Player at CF Montréal in the MLS and one final chapter at Dunfermline back in Scotland where it all began.
For those that do not know, a designated player in Major League Soccer (MLS) is one of 3 players signed by a MLS club whose salaries and transfer fees exceed the league’s strict salary budget restrictions. The rule was established cos of David Beckam in 2007- so he could be paid above the league's salary cap back then.
That was how special Wanyama was.
He made his international debut at just 15 years old and had over 60 caps. He captained his nation with dignity.
Wanyam paved the way for the discovery of other top Kenyan players like Michael Olunga and Job Ochieng- two of the very few kenyan players to have plied their trade in the top 5 Leagues.
I really hope that Wanyama is not sad today. I hope that he is grateful. Grateful that he had the privilge of playing the EPL and carrying his national team. Grateful that every time he stepped onto that pitch, he remembered where he came from and made sure the world knew too.
He left a boy but he returned a giant. And the giant was always Muthurwa's.

Dear God,
On this Good Friday, we pause and remember the weight of the cross and the love behind it. Thank You, Jesus, for Your sacrifice and mercy. When life feels dark and hope feels far away, remind us that You are still working. Thank You that Friday was not the end of the story and our pain is not the final word. Fill us with gratitude, strengthen our faith, and help us hold on to hope.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
