Ashly St. Clair should be the poster child for ex-right e-girl. All the tropes seen among more intelligent defectors in 2024 return here again. However, since St. Clair lacks the subtlety and intelligence to CYA, the self-serving nature of her position is self-evident. So, prepare yourself, once more, for all the classic tropes, where our ex-RW e-girl: - talks about entering the RW-space after being given a mercenary incentive, then leaving when the incentive dries up. - ignores intelligent RW ideas in favor of straw-man points liberals love to lampoon. - claims to have been tricked into being RW by being denied access to "banned books," where said "banned books" are part of the mandatory HS reading list. "No one ever taught me that SLAVERY was BAD! No one ever let me read 'Diary of Anne Frank'!" - constantly digresses away from ideas to personal attacks against RWers in catty-mean-girl fashion: "right-wing men are LLOOOOOSERS, incels, live in their parents' basement. ICK!" - to seem less superficial, critiques the procedural quality of RW ideas spaces, even though these critiques apply to ALL social media writ large - dismounts by telling people to "do better" by touching grass, avoiding online drama, and using the internet to talk about positive ideas. Meanwhile, it is almost guaranteed that this e-girl will never do anything in the real world. She will never advance a positive idea about a controversial political issue ever again. Her future content will focus entirely on drama, outrage, and "talking about talking".
