When my brother was 16, he went to pick up a girl for a date and apparently puberty had already paid him a full salary because he looked about 25 years old. He pulled up to this girl’s house thinking he was about to have a normal teenage date. Instead, her mom took one look at him through the window and refused to open the door. Not even a crack. She kept talking to him through the door asking how old he was, and when he said 16 she clearly did not believe him at all. According to my brother, she looked genuinely concerned for her daughter’s safety. He kept trying to explain that they went to school together and were literally the same age, but she still wasn’t convinced. Finally she told him he needed to prove it before her daughter was going anywhere with him. So my teenage brother had to pull out his driver’s license at the front door like he was getting.......

@mandate2049 Koreans adapted hangul only after money from uncle Sam came in (post war). Therefore, we can assume that, since they rely heavily on Chinese Hanja letters, the Hangul only became the common language then. If they were to use Hangul all the way since 15th century, then can count

In 1905 the last King of Korea Gojong personally hand wrote a letter to POTUS Theodore Roosevelt calling for help from the United States amid mounting pressure from Japan to turn Korea into its protectorate. The whole letter was written in Chinese. I can read it. Prior to the 1970s Korean was considered a vulgar pleb language unsuitable for any formal occasion by Koreans. Korea was a Sinosphere state. Everything serious was conducted in Chinese. Same for Vietnam.

LAST NIGHT I was assaulted walking home alone from the train station, 3 mins from Royal Holloway campus. A car flew past and launched a cup full of liquid at the back of my legs - no words, they just sped off. I called 999. Police attended. This is now part of my 3 live hate crime investigations. My “tea towel” keffiyeh comment got me suspended and kicked out the SAME DAY. Yet I’ve been reporting months of antisemitic & homophobic no-caller-ID harassment from pro-Palestine students (10 calls an hour) from Sep to January. The uni admitted they identified the callers… then did NOTHING. The boyfriend (white Muslim convert) doxxed me & my Jewish friend online, called us spies against Muslims, @TRobinsonNewEra bootlickers, and said “the whole of RHUL will be on your doorstep.” Yesterday the RHUL Wellbeing team sent me a copy-paste reply to my January report - same generic email they sent my Jewish friend. It’s May and they haven’t concluded any of the investigations. I replied: “I am not safe here. If something happens to me on campus it’s down on all of you at Royal Holloway.” Hours later I was attacked. RHUL Friends of Palestine labelled me on Instagram a “racist attacker” and “Islamophobic threat”, posted “he’s back on campus”, and their group chat is circulating Jewish students’ photos for harassment. Comments: “Brodie needs to get jumped” this builds on already existing messages like, “I’m gonna murder this racist prick.” The Wellbeing team (yes the ones who made me homeless for my keffiyeh comment & suspended me) investigates EVERYTHING… then protects the terrorist cheerleaders while Jewish & British students get terrorised. Politically twisted one way. Utterly useless. This is the escalation: online doxxing → explicit death threats → real-world assault. If something serious happens to me, I call on EVERYONE to expose Royal Holloway, their Wellbeing team, and Surrey Police for failing to act. I warned you. Throughout the trial he kept admitting to lying in the court and kept hurling personal insults to the judge and his family, you could tell he was hoping that they'd just fuck him out of the country if he was enough of a nuisance. Hope he enjoys the Kaiji mines.

@MeanHash Checking and verifying is a routine part of the process when you start the hiring practice. I think its a law? If the company wasn't doing this, they could be held liable?

Had a fun day today. 2 weeks ago an Indian (US Citizen) IT employee called ICE on his own department because he heard that many of them were here on fake H1-B Visas. 25 employees were arrested out of 100ish. He was correct. After talking to his leadership he also informed them that many here legally,but we're hired under false pretenses, because they had bought diplomas in India and never really got a degree. At this point management was worried they had been defrauded so they called me up to help them figure it out. We ran all of the remaining employees hiring paperwork through some AI analytics today. Massive amounts of documents. This included reading copies of diplomas, and and a ton of other personal documents. Training the AI analytics tool to look for irregularities in past work experience and education history. As an example: 1.) Check to see if the school exists 2.) Check to see if the person who signed the diploma actually worked at the university 3.) check to see if the degree listed is actually taught at that university 4.) ETC ETC ETC. We found that of the remaining 75 H1-b employees 50 of them had provided fake diplomas to either our company directly, or the contracting company they were hired through. So out of this one department of 250 people, 100 ish were from India here on visas, and 75 of them had defrauded the company during the hiring process. Either providing fake visa paperwork or falsification of education. Basically 75% lied. Not sure what they are going to do about it yet, as across the IT organization they have 1500 ish H1-B visa employees and they cannot fire 75% of them right now even if they wanted to, but I do know they are running all current visa employees records through the tool, any new applicants as well, and will be firing anyone who lied as soon as they get replacement in line for them. From the leadership I was working with: "We have to remove them, we cannot keep employees who defraud the company even if they are good and cheap"

@kangminlee You know he won't survive 6 months in a korean prison, especially as a foreigner. Better hope he speaks and understands korean, because he won't get any translators to understand the orders from the guards. I forsee many beatings.

I was in the courtroom for Johnny Somali’s verdict. The second he walked in, his eyes were completely dead and lifeless. Zero trolling, zero antics toward the press and creators. He wouldn’t even look at us. He knew he was screwed. And he was so desperate that he lied about still being an ASU student (he already graduated) and tried to say that he missed his family lol. Sad. Hope harassing Koreans and being a public nuisance was worth the hard labor and prison time. But I hope that the prosecutor appeals because 6 months is not enough. WE WANT THE MAXIMUM SENTENCE! @Jevrix9 If you're in the US, it depends on state law. They can come after you even years later for unjust enrichment. Which can be considered theft. Since I am sure this is a never happened post, the lawyer is shite.

5 years ago, a major bank put an extra zero on my deposit by mistake and turned it into a six figure deposit. I immediately withdrew the money and went on a shopping spree at Saks. About 30 days later, the bank realized their mistake and sent me 3 certified threatening letters to return the funds. I sent this letter to my attorney who said they could not charge me with anything and nothing happened to me. 😂
