@pidgelles than any kind of sadness. He’s overly cocky and can joke around too often. Him and Keith overlap a lot, which is why the ship is good in the first place (for me at least). But people have a habit of stripping them of their nuances and trying to fit them into boxes

@pidgelles I kinda hate when people try to push this sunshine character archetype onto Lance… he’s such a little shit. He’s very fast to anger (I’d argue sometimes even MORE than Keith). He very obvious struggles with an inferiority complex, but he’s someone that’d rather show his anger

Lowk hate how Keith takes some of Lance’s flaws/Lance’s flaws are less present in fanfics. Like why does Keith always have to be the rageful one who hurts the people around him. Why does Lance always have to be the patient and kind one? Why cant he be rough around the edges too??

and he will /never/ do that to Keith, or any of the other paladins. Keith will find a nice boy, and maybe Lance will do something right for once and fall in love with a demigod, and everyone will be safe. But they can never be together

The thing is, Lance knows that Keith would still try and make them work, that he’d try his hardest for a relationship between the two. But Lance can’t do that to Keith, he’s seen what exposure to the Greek world will do to the mind of regular mortals,

Klance angst for my demigod! Hunk and Lance au where some miscommunication happens and Lance is under the impression that Keith can’t see through the mist, so Lance stops entertaining the thought of being with Keith and very gently turns Keith away
