사실, 일본에는 흑인의 열배가 넘는 한국인, 한국계 일본인이 살고 있지만, 그들이 일본의 애니메이션에서 묘사되는 경우는 거의 없음. 그나마 흑인은 나디아나 턴에이건담같은 환타지 장르에서는 주인공으로 나오기도 하지만, 한국인이 주인공인 아니메따위 절대 존재하지 않음.
