@JayGeeTripleX There is zero doubt in my mind that Ruben was abused by his dad. It was obvious to me from the very first moment his dad showed up in the middle of the night. Then, him telling the story about the only time he cried? That literally just confirmed everything.

I always focus on the trauma from Ruben's dad but this scene reminds me of Maura tickling Niall until he physically had to push her off. It proves that his mom has absolutely no concept of boundaries either. In Ruben's family, boundaries simply do not exist. + #halfman
