Much is being made of Pakistan emerging as a U.S.–Iran interlocutor. This is not new. Pakistan has often been used as a conduit when direct engagement becomes difficult. But a conduit carries messages. It does not define outcomes. Geography helps Pakistan. That is all. India’s challenge is not to compete for that role, but to preserve something more valuable: credibility across divides. Power is measured by the ability to speak to all sides without being owned by anyone. We are not chasing visibility here. Let us aim at shaping the context.

I have many things to say to these Sikhs, but looking at the intellectual bankruptcy of this community,I would say only 1 thing. "Kar hi di na sardaro wali baat". x.com/i/status/20388…

It was Aurangzeb who spread Islam in India during his time period, and the Caliphate of Baghdad gifted him the sword of Imam Ali as an honour of spreading Islam in the Indian subcontinent. Bahadur Shah , one of the sons of Aurangjeb was inclined towards Shia ideology and he respected other faiths also. During the tenure of Aurangzeb, Bahadur Shah was the governor of Lahore, and he was aware of Guru Gobind Singh and his ideology and faith. He was not in good terms with his father Aurangjeb as his father was orthodox sunni .And Secondly, Bahadur Shah’s Persian teacher Bhai Nand Lal was a follower of Guru Gobind Singh. After the death of Aurangzeb, a war of succession broke between his sons, and Azam Shah, being eldest declared himself as successor. At that time of distress , the young princes was power hungry and looking for trustworthy people who can support them during that time.Azam Shah, eldest son of Aurangjeb occupied the throne and won the trust of few of governors and generals. So , Bahadur Shah started looking for people who can support him, and he was aware about Guru Gobind Singh ' bravery and his war strategies. Bhai Nand lal was the main person who requested Guru Gobind Singh to support Bahadur Shah. Guru Gobind Singh helped Bahadur Shah in the biggest battle , the battle of jajua , fought between the sons of Aurangjeb. Finally Bahadur Shah won , and the his brother was killed by the arrow fired from Guru Gobind Singh' army. Bahadur Shah thanked Guru Gobind Singh and invited him. On inviting , Guru Gobind Singh met Bahadur Shah and then Bahadur Shah honoured Guru Sahib with 'hind ka peer’ and honoured him with khilkat and sword of Imam Ali. He told the the sword of Ali should be with the Peer of hind and it should be owned by right person. Bahadur Shah was inclined towards shia ideology and respected the sacrifices made by Guru Sahib. #Sikhs #History

@OmarAbbasHyat More & less every accusation by kashmiri neo-liberal islamists on @adgpi etc is a confession about the regression in their own muslim majoritarian society.

@MarcScottEmery Langar propaganda can only get you far.. The Sikh regression has never been called out under some liberal hypothesis that they are a "minority" who feed propaganda more then they feed people.
