Very disappointed with @emeraldparkirl as a discount code clearly promoted on their own website for use with bookings and visits up to July 31st has been pulled due to 'code limit being reached'. However, the limit of this code was not at all advertised. Disappointing.

@KinsellaDavid And totally agree with you there too that being a possible option, but that is the Dept of Ed's call to make, to forgo the teaching of non exam students in order to prioritise splitting LC students into smaller more socially distanced groups. Again, back to the lack of any plan.

@siobh_85 I totally agree thag dept of Ed aren't blameless, but surely if teaching extra classes is an issue prioritise and drop first years or just set work at the start of the week? The only people losing out here are the LC students!

Norma Foley after getting a bit of a raw deal here surely? Leaving Certs could easily have been accommodated with a bit of extra planning on the schools part regarding splitting classes and social distancing to keep everyone safe

@KinsellaDavid I fail to see the raw deal N Foley is after getting? Splitting classes could be done, but then teachers would have to teach their class twice / three times, which is absolutely doable, but teachers also have the responsibility of doing their remote teaching for all other classes.

Spared! Thankfully the record breaking winds stayed a little bit west and south of Kilkenny last night, and stayed with the Met Éireann track. Gusts of 70 to 80 km/hr has produced some broken branches. Still very showery today and windy.

We would beg to differ ... There are children across Ireland waiting on basic healthcare & scans, to see a consultant. Families who feel no option only to pay for private care. @FineGael have failed to deliver equitable & timely access to public healthcare 4 our most vulnerable
