BL shipping has been a load-bearing pillar of the entire anime and manga fandom since OG Gundam. Many series “made for men” deliberately bake ambiguity into male friendships to get a foot in the Fujoshi market. You’re the ones changing the hobby under the guise of “gatekeeping.”
