It’s time for honesty (it always is): the first two years of the Biden-Harris administration, Dems held the House & Senate, Roe was not codified, the minimum wage was not raised, Americans didn’t get universal healthcare or even a public option, student debt cancellation was not passed into law, etc. The midterms in 2022, Democrats lost the House and in 2024, lost the House, Senate, White House and popular vote. Democrats unfortunately did not move with the fierce urgency of now and the party establishment focused on going to war with those who tried moving with urgency. The way to start to repair this? The Democratic Party must get corporate and dark money out of the party. They can decide to serve the people if they want to, all it takes is a bit of political courage.
