A few post recording thoughts: 1 - Very happy #Jets double dipped on pass catchers early and 2 of the first 3 picks were offense...bigger step back this regime has used early round capital on the offense two years in a row, which is an encouraging trend. They also came out ahead on consensus board and trade value with their maneuvering at 16 and 30. 2 - I won't act like I'm sold on Bailey over Reese as I'm not and also that it isn't clear the Jets remain leaky, as they are (attempted cover up via trip cancellation aside). Regardless, Bailey has all the tools to be a consistent double digit sack player and I hope they immediately treat him as a full time player and are smart/creative on how they are maximizing him, Ossai, WMD and Engabare and not being a sieve against the run. 3 - Cooper is going to be a quick fan favorite. Polished. Tough runner. Well-rounded and can bounce between Z and slot (with maybe a very little X). Great value at #30. 4 - Sadiq is an athletic freak who is the prototype big slot with unique YAC ability vs anywhere near a traditional TE (a role Taylor will fill). You need a plan for a guy like this but I can promise whoever the rookie QB is in 2027 is going to be thrilled to have him around with a year under his belt. Also a younger prospect with a nice developmental runway to still climb. 5 - Among names to watch at #44 - Hood, Ponds, Haulcy, EMW, Pregnon, Bisontis, Dunker, Allen, Rodriguez
