USA. A Mexican restaurant. We had not yet ordered anything, and the food was already arriving. Chips. Salsa. Unrequested. Free. I stopped the waiter. "We have not earned these." "They just come with the table, man." They come with the TABLE. In my land, hospitality is a debt. Every gift creates an obligation, weighed carefully, returned in the proper season with interest of feeling. Here, the gift arrives before you have even proven you can pay for dinner. This is not an appetizer. This is a declaration: we trust you. Eat. I ate with the gravity the moment deserved. And then — I must report this calmly — the basket emptied, and a new one appeared. "Did we…?" "Refill," the waiter said. "It's bottomless." Bottomless. They have wells of salsa. The supply lines of this nation are beyond anything my ancestors imagined. My friend warned me. "Don't fill up on chips, dude." Too late. I had accepted three baskets. Honor demanded each one be finished — an unfinished gift is an insult. By the time my actual food arrived, I was a ruined man. I was not hungry. I was not comfortable. I had been defeated by a courtesy. Generosity that arrives before the request cannot be repaid. It can only be survived. I know the rule now. I have made my peace with the basket. One basket. Two at the most. Who am I deceiving. There is no number of baskets I would refuse. The trust of a nation is in that salsa, and I intend to honor all of it.

@KeithandMovies @asha_shar Completely agree. I’d like a 10$-$15 tier that’s Xbox studio titles day and date on Xbox/pc nothing else. Except Xbox live. (which we all know should be free to users if they really want anyone to stay and play multiplayer on their platform)

@Sirjoshmo @asha_shar I think removing a significant first-party title leaves the door open for more in the future, especially if they get a pass on it. It seems there are several other options for GP price reduction besides putting a crack in your day-one benefits.

Game Pass Ultimate has become too expensive for too many players. Starting today, we’re dropping the price from $29.99 to $22.99/month. Future Call of Duty titles will no longer join Game Pass Ultimate on day one. They will join this tier the following holiday after launch (about a year later). @KeithandMovies @asha_shar Agree but the appeal it lost going to $30 is about equal. Would rather it lose the Fortnite and other add ons than an Xbox title but if that’s why it has to be $30 I’d rather pay less and buy that one title if I want it. But can’t be for other titles. Slippery slope both ways.

Wasn’t really sure how I was going to address this but being that I uprooted my life and need a job I guess I’ll at least just put it out there! Unfortunately, I was let go from Barstool last week with no plan for what’s next. I can’t thank Barstool enough for such an amazing learning experience, but I’ll miss the relationships I made there the most. Just an unreal amount of talent and passion that I got to see each day. Just wish I could’ve said bye to them all!❤️ The fans, are so fucking cool. I’ve seen some of the nicest (and meanest) DMs over the last two years and you guys truly just rock😂 To whatever’s next, I’m excited. And to everyone that helped me along the way, I can’t thank you enough. What a fun, crazy, chaotic ride.
