Kacey Musgraves reviews calling her new album a return to form… weird thing to say about someone who only puts out 10/10 records but okay i'm very excited
Deep Water: a plane crashes into a pile of sharks in Renny Harlin's braindead — but heartfelt! — return to the deep blue sea. not to be confused with the Deep Water where Ben Affleck plays with snails while Ana de Armas cucks him into murder.

@Coopsage@sbodrojan both, in somewhat inextricable ways. Returnal's concept served the gameplay loop much better, but also its runs had more strategy, momentum, drama. Saros plenty addictive in its own right though.
The Devil Wears Prada 2: it took almost two entire movies but Andrea Sachs finally wears a legitimately chic outfit (a cheap white t-shirt with the album cover for Björk’s “Post” screen-printed across the front)
.@NYCMayor: "I want to reflect on the words of the late, great Val Kilmer in the 1995 Michael Mann classic, 'Heat'. He said: "For me, the sun rises and sets with her, man." For too long, the sun has risen and set on New Yorkers living in apartments without reliable heat."
my 6-year-old son: my favorite thing in the world is you
[my heart explodes, a single tear rolls down my cheeks, decades of daddy issues cured in an instant, all of my flaws as a parent forgiven, angels singing from on high]

Very cool to see @davidehrlich speak with David Lowery about #MotherMary and how they pulled off some beautiful, highly challenging sequences.
It also helps that Mother Mary is really good!!
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy: don’t be fooled by the title, this is totally anonymous horror filmmaking. bland, mean but not in a fun way, and builds to an ending that totally misunderstands the movie.
