@KarenHansonAZ @fan_cornell She needs to. We have a serious shortage of urologists here right now.
English

@sissy180 @fan_cornell Has she had them analyzed? Then she could find out what kind they are. But most are calcium oxalate.

I never knew any of this.

Spinach is the worst leafy green you can eat. -Highest pesticide amounts of ALL produce by weight. 75% of non-organic samples contain permethrin (neurotoxic insecticide banned in Europe). -High oxalates (~800mg/ cooked cup) = significant kidney stone risk -Accumulates cadmium/lead Lettuce (romaine etc.) is far less problematic. Bring on the pitchforks🍴, @X.

@KarenHansonAZ @fan_cornell My daughter will never give up chocolate 🍫
English

@fan_cornell @sissy180 Yes, generally. It depends on the type of stone though. My mom gets calcium oxalate stones so she needs to stay away from spinach, certain nuts, chocolate, etc. But she sneaks chocolate…
English

@fan_cornell @KarenHansonAZ Oh. I didn't know that!
My daughter gets them often.
Thank you 👍

@sissy180 @KarenHansonAZ If you have had kidney stones then spinach is not recommended
